The Oklahoma City Thunder‘s 2022-23 NBA season has come to an end.
Following a big match against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the young team said goodbye to their playoff chances.
After a big win over the New Orleans Pelicans earlier this week, the Thunder couldn’t keep up with the T-Wolves.
The 120-95 loss at Target Center sealed the fate of the Thunder, who couldn’t make it to the big party.

NBA fans reacted to this game, with some feelings for the Thunder.
Honestly props to them. Nobody expected them to even make the play in.
15 picks in 5 years AND they’re the second youngest team? This team boutta be scary..— Parsons Szn 🟥 (@Parsons_DPOY) April 15, 2023
Others showed their support to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the leader of the team.
Shai can B @okcthunder ‘s franchise player. I’d build around his talent starting this summer. Trade away draft assets for 1-2 Allstars 2 complement Shai, ie a PG & a big.
But, I’m certain that OKC will continue 2 go draft-route. Shai will request a trade or leave via FA. @NBA

They still are missing Chet and have a boatload of picks as well. One of the brightest futures in the NBA.

Gilgeous-Alexander didn’t have the best night, shooting 5-19 from the field, only dropping 22 points against Minnesota.
Josh Giddey couldn’t do much either, posting 6 points on 6-14 from the field.
Even though they had a great game against the Pelicans, this second game of the play-in showed that the Thunder still have a long way to go.
They have interesting pieces on the roster and things can only get better for them.
The future is bright for them, especially knowing the number of draft picks they’ll have for the next five years or so.
This story isn’t over for them, and their fans must really feel excited about this squad.
OKC will be back, and if their young stars keep developing, they will be a problem for the rest of the league.
