Today is a sad day for Green Bay Packers fans.
Aaron Rodgers will no longer be their quarterback going forward, and while some might think this was long overdue and a rebuild was necessary, it still hurts to know he won’t be there anymore.

Notably, the team made all those feelings arise when they shared an emotional two-minute clip of Rodgers’ highlights with the organization to bid him farewell, although some divisional rivals were actually ecstatic.

Rodgers’ tenure with the Packers was nothing short of legendary.
Of course, winning just one Super Bowl could be considered a failure by his standards, as he’s one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever grace the face of the Earth.
But Peyton Manning went through the same thing with the Indianapolis Colts, and he wound up winning another ring later in his career, so who’s to say Rodgers can’t do the same with the New York Jets?
As for the Packers, their fans have been spoiled and privileged to have Brett Favre and then Rodgers as their QB1s.
Needless to say, that puts plenty of pressure on Jordan Love to keep up that tradition of legendary quarterbacks, and expectations within the front office are quite high for the former first-round selection.
Love hasn’t been exactly impressive when he’s been given the chance to take over, but reports state that he’s ready to prove the doubters wrong and be a starter, and Packers fans better hope that’s actually the case as the 2023 season keeps zooming in.
