The Buffalo Bills are one of the best all-around teams in the NFL today, with one of the most talented quarterbacks in the game running the show in Josh Allen.
Over the past couple of years, the Bills have been considered legitimate Super Bowl title contenders in the AFC and justifiable so, with a ton of talent on both sides of the football.
However, the team hasn’t been able to get over the hump in the NFL playoffs, and that has led to some criticism and former players like Hall of Famer Jim Kelly expressing his opinion about what the team needs to do.
Kelly believes the Bills need a star running back to take the team to the next level, which former Bills star LeSean McCoy disagreed with and fired back at the legendary quarterback on the Up and Adams Show.

Both sides of this argument seem to make sense, as the team has had success without a top-tier running back and Allen doing the bulk of the running, but Buffalo could also bring in another threat in the backfield to take the pressure off their superstar quarterback and make the offense that much more dynamic.
With so many top-tier running backs potentially becoming available this offseason, with rumors swirling about the status of Dalvin Cook and Derrick Henry, the Bills might have an opportunity to bring in some proven talent.
The 2023 NFL Draft also has some intriguing prospects at the running back position in Bijan Robinson, Jahmyr Gibbs, Roschon Johnson and Devon Achane, to name a few.
The Bills will have no shortage of options to upgrade the running back position if they feel that is an area of need moving forward.
