The four-game series that the New York Yankees and the Toronto Blue Jays played in Canada sparked some controversies.
In the first game, Aaron Judge looked at his dugout right before a pitch and the Blue Jays started pointing fingers.
In the second game, Domingo German was caught using foreign substances and rightfully slapped with a 10-game suspension.
The third game finished when Danny Jansen hit a walk-off home run.
The fourth resulted in the third Yankees victory in four games.
If Jays fans hated the Yankees before the series, they hate them even more now.
The sentiment might not be the same, though.
MLB Network analyst and former Team USA manager Mark DeRosa suggested that the Yankees and their fans feel more indifference than anger towards the Jays.

He implied that Toronto is trying to manufacture a rivalry that might not exist to the extent that some Jays fans think.
The truth is that both squads are really competitive at the moment and will probably fight for a postseason spot all year long.
At the moment, there is a chance that the Jays are even better than the Yankees, at least with the latter suffering so many injuries.
Yankees fans, however, feel that the Boston Red Sox and the Houston Astros are bigger rivals than the Blue Jays.
The New York Mets and the Tampa Bay Rays are probably third and fourth in some order.
Then, in the next tier, the Jays start to show up when it comes to rivalries exclusively.
It’s not that Yankees supporters don’t respect them or recognize they are good, but the fierce rivalry might not be there yet.
