Former NBA Player Makes Bold Prediction About Suns, Nuggets Series

The Denver Nuggets are playing like the team to beat in the Western Conference right now.

And while some weren’t that impressed by them getting past the Minnesota Timberwolves, they’re also dominating the Phoenix Suns.

In fact, former NBA star Tim Hardaway Sr. believes the Nuggets will sweep the Suns because they’re playing with way more confidence right now.

Hardaway argues that the Suns are refusing to shoot wide-open shots and that lack of confidence might as well be the reason why they’ll get swept in this series.

The Suns might also be without Chris Paul for the next couple of games.

That has been a common trend in Paul’s career, especially as he’s grown older.

Their offense was stagnant and predictable when CP3 was forced to leave the floor with left groin tightness, and that eventually led to the Nuggets’ comeback.

Bruce Brown and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope are playing elite, suffocating, pesky, and gritty defense on the Suns’ stars.

And while both Devin Booker and Kevin Durant can put up 30+ each despite being well-guarded, that might not be a winning formula for Monty Williams’ team going forward.

Also, they’re not exactly a deep team, and their second unit with Landry Shamet and Cameron Payne has gotten destroyed defensively throughout the whole season, and they seem unplayable at this point.

All things considered, they’ll need a better effort from Deandre Ayton to keep Nikola Jokic off the glass, and Durant and Booker might need to take ball-handling duties if Paul is forced to miss some time.
