It was a wild game at Oracle Park Tuesday night between the San Francisco Giants and St. Louis Cardinals.

After the Cardinals rallied to take the lead, the Giants returned the favor in the bottom of the ninth.

That’s when catcher Blake Sabol provided some fireworks with an exciting finish to the second contest in this four-game series.

Facing pitcher Ryan Helsley, Sabol hit a fly ball out to deep center field that cleared the wall and gave the Giants a 5-4 comeback win.

On Twitter, NBCS — the TV home of the Giants — posted a video of Sabol’s exciting moment.

The home run was Sabol’s first career walk-off blast.

It was also his fourth homer of the season.

The 25-year-old is hitting .224 with eight RBI, one stolen base, and a .738 OPS to start the season.

And on Tuesday, he got a chance to experience a truly thrilling moment as the Giants stunned the slumping Cardinals in dramatic fashion.

Sabol made the Giants Opening Day roster out of spring training and has been splitting time with former top prospect Joey Bart behind the plate.

The young catcher certainly made the most of his time on Tuesday, coming through in a key spot and picking up his first career walk-off homer.

He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates out of the University of Southern California in the seventh round in 2019.

The win brought the Giants to 10-13 on the season and assured them of at least a series split against the Cardinals.
