The Philadelphia 76ers had another disappointing end to the season.
They had the Boston Celtics against the ropes and a chance to knock them out at home in Game 6, yet they let that series lead slip right through their fingers — again.
That has been a common trend in every single Doc Rivers team, and the team’s stars also left a lot to be desired in that win-or-go-home game.
And now that James Harden can opt out of the final year of his contract, Ramona Shelburne of ESPN reports that he may not want to play for Rivers again.

Rivers could be on the hot seat after blowing another crucial lead in the playoffs, and Daryl Morey could be the next in line if that happens, especially if they also lose Harden.
The Houston Rockets are reportedly looking forward to bringing Harden back, and the interest is said to be mutual.
Harden led the league in assists per game this season and had some throwback performances in the playoffs, but it’s evident that he can no longer carry a team like he used to do five or six years ago.
Joel Embiid wants the Sixers to sort things out and bring Harden back to run it back next season, but it ultimately may not be up to them to make that call, as Harden can simply decide to walk away.
Also, judging by how he called his teammates out in public, the team may need to make some significant moves in the offseason.
