Who among active NFL quarterbacks has had the most wins in the last six seasons?

It is no surprise that Patrick Mahomes, who has won two Super Bowls during that span, and Aaron Rodgers are atop that list.

But the man in third place on that list, as shared by NFL on CBS, is a surprise.

How many people would’ve guessed that it is the Detroit Lions‘ Jared Goff?

Goff has never been accused of being an elite quarterback, but he has certainly been a solid one over the years.

He has played seven seasons in the NFL, and during that time, he has been named to three Pro Bowls.

He spent his first five seasons with the Los Angeles Rams, and he led them to a 13-3 record and a Super Bowl appearance during the 2018 season.

Goff was traded to the Lions prior to the 2021 campaign in the deal that brought the Rams Matthew Stafford, and after a dismal maiden voyage there, he led them to eight wins in their final 10 games last season.

They very narrowly missed the playoffs, but plenty of people are now picking them to finish first in the NFC North in 2023 because of how well they played down the stretch of the 2022 campaign.

Goff had one of his best seasons in 2022, throwing for 4,438 yards and 29 touchdowns, and next season, he could have another weapon at his disposal in the form of veteran wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr.

Along with Pro Bowler Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams, he should form a solid trio of playmakers at the wideout position.
