After Sunday’s 129-121 win over the Atlanta Hawks, the Boston Celtics are now just one win away from reaching the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

The Celtics are a deep team but it was the unstoppable duo of Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum who again did the most work for Boston in their latest win.

Both Brown and Tatum scored 31 points.

As pointed out by ESPN, the Celtics win 95.7% of the time when Brown and Tatum score 30+ points each.

That is the best among all NBA duos.

Both Brown and Tatum have been incredible this season.

Brown averaged 26.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists on 49.1% from the field.

And Tatum was an MVP candidate with 30.1 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 4.6 assists.

They have become perhaps the strongest pairing in the league, even though just a year ago there were rumors of them breaking up.

When Kevin Durant tried to make his way onto the market last summer, there were reports that the Celtics were thinking of sending Brown away to land him.

That obviously didn’t end up happening and Brown returned to have his best season yet.

There are still rumors about Brown leaving the Celtics.

But the front office will attempt to do whatever they can to keep him since he works so well alongside his teammate and friend.

If Brown and Tatum are able to win the Finals this season, it’ll secure their place as the best duo in the league.

They are able to read one another well and play together magically.

And the stats show that when they both get going, the Celtics win nearly every time.
