The Miami Heat continue to defy the odds during these NBA playoffs, with Jimmy Butler and company dominating the competition each round leading up to the Eastern Conference Finals, even though the team is an eighth seed.
On Friday, the Heat are taking on the Boston Celtics in Game 2, with hopes of coming out on top, taking a commanding 2-0 lead, and inching one step closer to getting back to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2020 in the bubble.
Ahead of Game 2, Butler made his way through security at TD Garden in Boston, with a special guest waiting to greet him on the other side in the form of Ernie Johnson of NBA on TNT.
Butler reacted by cracking a joke about Johnson knowing who he was via NBA on TNT.

If Butler and the Heat can come out on top against the Celtics, Miami will have pulled off the seemingly impossible, as they will have made it all the way from the Play-in Tournament to the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference to the NBA Finals.
None of this success the Heat have enjoyed during the playoffs would’ve been possible without Butler playing at an incredibly high level during this postseason, as he has taken his game to another level.
Although the Heat are only three wins away from the Finals, they still have to deal with a talented Celtics team that won’t go down easy, as they have their own title aspirations.
