The Cleveland Guardians have been given a major boost from Josh Naylor of late.

Coming into the season, many thought Naylor would be able to produce plenty of power for the Guardians.

But his ability to come through in the clutch is something that no one saw coming.

According to MLB on Twitter, Naylor is the first player in the expansion era to hit three straight go-ahead home runs in the eighth inning or later.

This is an incredible feat for Naylor.

So many things have to go right for Naylor to come up with a chance to take the lead.

Also, for him to hit a home run each time is outstanding.

He continues to come through when the Guardians need him the most.

While his season stats have not been great, it seems like Naylor is catching fire at the right time.

The Guardians have been one of the worst-hitting teams in the league this season.

Their 3.55 runs per game rank second to last in the MLB on the year.

Despite their struggles, Cleveland is still 19-21 on the year and in second place in the AL Central.

If they can start to hit the ball better there is no reason to think the Guardians can not win the Central again.

Last season Naylor hit 20 home runs and drove in 79.

He is looking to exceed both of those numbers this year.

Naylor looks to continue his home run streak as the Guardians get set for a big series with the White Sox.
