The Los Angeles Chargers have one of the budding stars at quarterback.

Justin Herbert has proven to be a star and led his team to the playoffs for the first time last year.

He is the future of the Chargers and they will have to pay him as such very soon.

While Herbert is the most important Chargers player, they also have a great group of skilled players.

According to NFL on CBS, Herbert named Keenan Allen as the most underrated player in the NFL.

Allen does seem to fly under the radar when talking about top receivers in the game.

In four of the last six seasons, Allen has over 100 catches and 1,100+ yards.

He is known for his route running, and consistently finding ways to get open.

Allen is entering his age-31 season next year, and should once again be a reliable target for Herbert.

The Chargers will need to score at a high-level next season.

Playing in the AFC West is a tough task and you have to score points to beat teams like the Kansas City Chiefs.

Allen and Mike Williams give the Chargers a strong core at receiver.

But injuries have held both of those players back in recent years.

For LA to reach its potential in 2023, they need to stay healthy and hope for a career season from Herbert.
