The Los Angeles Chargers have found an infusion of life on offense, largely due to the emergence of Justin Herbert.

Herbert joins several other quarterbacks of late to make an instant impact on their team.

After Philip Rivers left the organization, fans were desperately seeking a player like Herbert, who has outplayed all expectations.

Not only did he win the Offensive Rookie of the Year award in 2020, but he holds another impressive stat as well.

According to the NFL on CBS, Herbert is the only active quarterback that has played in over 50 games to never throw three or more interceptions in a single game.

Herbert certainly isn’t afraid to throw the ball, as he had the second-most pass attempts last season.

Even though he throws the ball a lot, he doesn’t have a propensity to throw many interceptions.

In his three career seasons, Herbert has thrown just 35 interceptions, an impressive mark for a young quarterback.

Typically, players tend to struggle when they get into the league, adapting to playing football at the highest level.

Not only has Herbert found instant success, but he doesn’t make a lot of mistakes, evidenced by his lack of three-interception games.

Many are projecting him to have an MVP-level performance during the 2023 season, given how he has looked as of late.

Will he be able to live up to these high expectations?

After using significant draft capital on Quentin Johnston, it appears that the Chargers are ready to build around him, bulking up their offense as a whole.
