It’s been an incredible ride for the Golden State Warriors.
Steve Kerr took an up-and-coming team and turned them into one of the all-time greatest dynasties this game has ever seen, but all things eventually come to an end.
And Kendrick Perkins thinks the Dubs have reached that point already.
He recently claimed on ESPN’s Get Up that he doesn’t see them winning the whole thing this season, but he does cite that this might as well be their final shot at winning another championship.
Perkins adds that some of their players might move on and pursue different paths, citing that it’s all ok because of how good they’ve been.
“I think this is the Warriors’ last dance [to win another NBA title].”

The Warriors made it to the NBA Finals six times in eight seasons, winning four rings.
They also set the record for most wins in a regular season, even if they couldn’t finish the job and cap that campaign off with a ring.
Regardless of what happens this season, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green have cemented themselves as first-ballot Hall of Famers already, and they’ll all have their jerseys hanging high in the rafters and a statue outside of Chase Center.
Still, we’ve heard people count them out and predict the end of the dynasty way too many times already, including last season.
So, even though they don’t look as solid as they used to, we can never rule them out until we actually see that they’ve lost four games in a series.
They’ve earned the benefit of the doubt.
