Keyshawn Johnson Names 1 Player The Cowboys Should Draft

A couple of weeks ago, the question was whether or not Bijan Robinson was going to be a first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

As things stand now, it seems like the question is actually where he’ll end up in the first round.

With that in mind, ESPN’s Keyshawn Johnson believes the Dallas Cowboys should do everything in their power to land the Texas Longhorns star.

Johnson made a point of him being the perfect replacement for Ezekiel Elliott, who was recently released by the team.

Of course, the Cowboys might be hesitant to use another first-round selection on another running back, granted it didn’t work out all that well the last time around, at least in terms of long-term production.

More than that, chances are that the Cowboys will have to trade up to land the young stud, as they only have the 26th overall pick in the upcoming draft.

Robinson would be worth trading up for, though.

He put up 1,580 yards and 18 touchdowns with the Longhorns last season, adding 19 receptions for 314 yards and two scores.

The Cowboys reportedly feel quite comfortable giving the reins of the running game to Tony Pollard, who outplayed Zeke in the past couple of seasons.

But, with all due respect to Pollard, he’s nowhere near Robinson’s level in terms of raw talent and athleticism.

They’ve already added Brandin Cooks to a receiving corps that already featured CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup, so adding another stud to their offense could finally get them over the hump.
