For years, NBA fans have debated LeBron James’ ability to dominate in the clutch.

The stats prove that he’s one of the greatest clutch performers of all time, yet some of his doubters have always deemed him a choker.

Fortunately for them, James’ numbers in the postseason have been terrible, at least when it comes to three-point shooting.

According to SportsCenter, James is 1-20 in three-pointers and has missed 19 straight triples in the fourth quarter of this year’s playoffs.

Moreover, he’s 0% from beyond the arc in their series vs. the Denver Nuggets through the first two games of the series.

James has never been an above-average three-point shooter, but he’s used to thriving when the game is on the line.

That signature step-back three looked automatic every time he went to his left, so it’s not like he’s used to these kinds of struggles.

Even so, James is the all-time leading scorer for a reason, and shooters will continue to shoot.

James will have the green light to continue trying his luck from the perimeter, no matter how many times he misses.

Perhaps these woes have to do with exhaustion, as James isn’t getting any younger, and he’s looked tired from time to time in this series.

It’s only fair that a 38-year-old finishing his 20th season playing at the highest level isn’t able to withstand the physical burden of playing 38+ minutes a night, and that’s something Coach Darvin Ham might want to look at for the remainder of this series.
