In just one month, two historic rivals of the National League will take part in the MLB London Series.

The Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals are set to face off against each other in London on June 24-25.

The two teams were set to play the London Series in 2020 before the COVID-19 pandemic wiped it off the schedule.

The New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox played the first London Series back in 2019.

However, after a four-year hiatus, the London Series will be making its return.

On Twitter, MLB posted a cool graphic featuring stars from the Cubs and Cardinals to hype up the London Series and the fact that it is now only a month away.

The graphic features Paul Goldschmidt and Nolan Arenado from the Cardinals side and Seiya Suzuki and Dansby Swanson from the Cubs side.

We are now just one month away from the return of the London Series and the opportunity to watch the game grow as it expands its reach from beyond the United States to other countries as well.

Baseball already has a strong presence in Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic.

However, this represents another opportunity for the game to grow in England and the United Kingdom.

After the Red Sox and Yankees made their presence felt in London, the Cubs and Cardinals now have a chance to do the same as they add yet another chapter to their historic rivalry that spans over more than a century.

The series will be played on June 24-25.
