The San Francisco 49ers are moving forward this season with Trey Lance and Brock Purdy as their candidates for the starting quarterback spot, with Sam Darnold serving as the third-string QB.
For now, at least, Lance is the starter as Purdy is recovering from surgery to fix a torn UCL in his throwing elbow that he suffered during the NFC Championship Game in January.
But on Tuesday, it was reported that other teams were calling the 49ers and making them trade offers for Lance.
It has raised the question of which team would be the best fit for him were he to be traded.
This fan feels Lance, who is a native of Minnesota, should come home and play for the Minnesota Vikings.

The Vikings currently have Kirk Cousins, but although they went 13-4 last season, they fell to the New York Giants in the Wild Card playoff round, and at age 34, Cousins isn’t a long-term solution for them.
These two fans feel Lance should head to the Tri-state area and play for the New York Jets.

It is presumed the Jets will eventually trade for Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, but trade discussions between the two teams have been moving forward at a glacial pace, and there is always the possibility the future Hall of Famer will stay put or even get sent to a different team.
This fan thinks the Houston Texans may be a good bet for Lance.

If Lance were to be sent to Houston, he would be reunited with DeMeco Ryans, the former Niners defensive coordinator who just got hired to be the Texans’ head coach.
