As of April 13, Aaron Rodgers is still a member of the Green Bay Packers.
The Packers and New York Jets haven’t come to a trade agreement, leaving this situation unresolved.
Throughout this process, rumors have circulated, revolving around the potential trade compensation for the Packers.
A recent report from Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports indicates that the Packers are still looking for a 2023 second-round pick, and a 2024 first-rounder as well.

As Robinson dictates, “The Packers are holding out for what they want right now.”
From the beginning, many fans and analysts have agreed that the Packers hold significant leverage in this situation.
In this interview, Robinson also indicated that the Packers’ stubbornness in this situation is a problem for the Jets.
Rodgers has publicly declared via the Pat McAfee Show that his intention is to play for the Jets moving forward.
It has been made clear that he does not wish to play for the Packers, and the Jets are the best fit for him.
The Jets initially responded by adding Allen Lazard, one of Rodgers’ former Packers teammates.
They have subsequently added Mecole Hardman, another potential weapon for Rodgers.
Despite these moves, the Jets have not been aggressive in their trade package for Rodgers, which has only helped the Packers to this point.
The next several weeks will provide insight into the situation.
If fans have their way, this trade will be resolved before the draft, so both teams can adequately move on.
