On Monday, the Detroit Tigers came into American Family Field and opened up their series with the Milwaukee Brewers with a big win.
Down early against the Brewers by a run, the Tigers made up for a few baserunning mistakes on Nick Maton’s three-run homer off of right-hander Colin Rea.
The home run put Detroit ahead by a score of 3-1.
And while Maton was rounding the bases, his teammates in the Tigers dugout celebrated his home run in unique fashion.
Maton’s Tigers teammates celebrated by making the shape of wolf ears with their hands and acted as if they were in a wolfpack.
On Twitter, the Tigers posted a video of the home run with a caption that read, “It’s Nick Maton’s wolfpack and we’re here for it.”

The Tigers certainly were there for it.
That home run got them on the board and put them in the lead.
It also proved to be the difference in the game as they defeated the Brewers by a final score of 4-2.
The home run also traveled into the second deck at American Family Field.
And as Maton rounded the bases, his Tigers teammates, or rather his “wolfpack,” celebrated the home run.
It certainly is a unique style of celebration, but it all worked out for the Tigers on Monday.
The players were having fun with it, and so was Maton.
The home run erased a key baserunning mistake and helped the Tigers flip the script against the Brewers on Monday, securing an important win.
