The Denver Nuggets pulled off a big win over the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night.
Game 1 of their second-round series appeared to be a close one but the Nuggets took over quickly and never looked back.
Nikola Jokic, Aaron Gordon and Michael Porter Jr. had nice performances, but the one that stood out the most was Jamal Murray.
The talented point guard had 34 points, making it clear he’s back.
After the game was over, he was asked if he was ‘bubble Murray’ or ‘healthy Murray,’ in reference to his crazy stint in the Orlando bubble.
Murray didn’t hesitate and sent a big message to his doubters.
“I say it’s healthy Murray,” Murray said. “I don’t how many times I gotta prove myself for y’all to believe in my game or believe in what I do or my health or whatever it is. I can only just keep doing it and keep training and prove everybody wrong. We’re going to keep improving, try to get this Game 2 on Monday (and) prove the doubters wrong, that’s it.”

This is great news for the Nuggets, who need their second-best player ready to go.
The 2023 NBA Playoffs present a big opportunity for them to win it all, and if Murray gets hot now, the Suns and the rest of the West will be in trouble.
He also sent a message to Chris Paul, calling him out after Paul body-checked him during a fastbreak.
“I’m not here to start nothing. I’m just trying to play a game. If he does that, he does it. Y’all can judge it by itself or look at his history.”

This series can get more interesting in the next couple of games, as these two teams have had some sort of beef since 2021.
After their first win of the series, the Nuggets will try to confirm that this win wasn’t a fluke.
