Some predicted there would be an unprecedented race to the bottom in this NBA season, and while that wasn’t the case, several teams never took their sights off Victor Wembanyama.

The French big man has been considered the consensus No. 1 pick in the upcoming NBA Draft for over a year now, and he’s only cemented that status with his stellar play throughout the season.

And now that the field is set and we know the worst teams in the league this season, odds revealed the teams with the highest chance to land Wembanyama.

The Detroit Pistons, Houston Rockets, and San Antonio Spurs sit at No. 1 with 14%, followed by the Charlotte Hornets (12.5%), Portland Trail Blazers (10%), and Orlando Magic (9.5%).

The Indiana Pacers (6.8%), Washington Wizards (6.7%), Utah Jazz (4.5%), Dallas Mavericks (3%), Chicago Bulls (1.8%), Oklahoma City Thunder (1.7%), Toronto Raptors (1%), and New Orleans Pelicans (0.5%) also have a slim chance to get their hands on the highest-ranked prospect in NBA history.

Notably, having Wembanyama on the Spurs could help them repeat history, as they have had their fair share of legends going No. 1 in the NBA Draft.

Still, they don’t have much of a promising roster right now, with Devin Vassell and Keldon Johnson as the only potential stars.

The Rockets, on the other hand, would have arguably the most talented young lineup in the game with Jalen Green, Jabari Smith Jr., Wembanyama, and Alperen Sengun.

As for the Pistons, pairing him with Cade Cunningham and Jaden Ivey could help them go back to their championship-winning days sooner rather than later.
