The New England Patriots seem to be an afterthought in the AFC East.
Everyone wants to talk about the Jets and their recent addition of Aaron Rodgers.
Or maybe the high-flying offense in Miami led by Tua Tagovailoa.
Not to mention the top team in the division the last few seasons, the Buffalo Bills.
The Patriots continue to fly under the radar because they are not flashy and rarely make any splash moves.
Yet one Patriots insider thinks the team could be in for a very good season.
That is Tom Curran, who said on Up & Adams that Mac Jones will be the Comeback Player of the Year and the team will go 12-5.

Jones struggled all of last season but the Patriots coaching staff did him no favors.
Matt Patricia was calling the offensive plays and he had no experience doing that before last season.
Also, the Patriots’ offense lacked quality skill players.
Now with Bill O’Brien calling plays, Jones should be in for a much better year.
Also, the Patriots were able to add wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, who should help Jones’ production.
This could be a make-or-break season for Jones.
He needs to play at the Pro Bowl level we saw his rookie year to ensure his job in New England.
The Patriots will have a very difficult time going 12-5 like Curran said.
The AFC is far too loaded for a team like New England to win 12 games.
But, if Jones can play at an elite level then anything is possible.
