Well, the moment all New York Jets fans were waiting for is finally here: Aaron Rodgers is on his way to town.

The Jets and Green Bay Packers discussed this deal for weeks, and they managed to get it done just before the NFL Draft.

Of course, hopes are now at an all-time high among the Jets faithful, and former HC Rex Ryan wants them to be fired up.

Ryan took to ESPN’s Get Up! wearing his father’s Super Bowl III ring and Jets apparel to let everybody know that the Jets are going to the Super Bowl next season.

The former coach raved about how the team managed to put together a playoff-caliber defense and pair it with a Hall of Famer at the quarterback position, and he believes the team has officially put the league on notice.

On paper, the Jets should now officially be considered the team to beat in the AFC East, even ahead of the Buffalo Bills.

The Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs could still be the best team in the Conference until proven otherwise, but you have to love their chances if you’re a Jets fan.

Truth be told, Rodgers is already the greatest quarterback the franchise has ever had, even if he didn’t post his usual MVP-caliber numbers last season.

The Jets will have a plethora of options at his disposal and perhaps one of the best supporting casts he’s ever had, not to mention that elite defense.

So, get hyped, Jets nation! It’s been long enough.
