Just two weeks ago, some NFL scouts were still discussing whether Will Levis was a first-round pick.

Now, his odds of going No. 1 in the NFL Draft have skyrocketed in nearly every major sportsbook.

Sports business reporter Darren Rovell reported that Levis moved from 50/1 to 20/1 at Points Bet, and he’s currently sitting on 10/1 odds.

A recent rumor posted on Reddit stated that Levis was telling his friends and family that the Carolina Panthers would take him first overall, so that may have led to all this frenzy and speculation.

Levis is a physical specimen with the athletic traits to become the next NFL superstar.

He’s drawn comparisons to Josh Allen, not just because of their similar build but also because he’s as raw as Allen when he first entered the league.

Levis has drawn mixed reviews throughout the whole draft process.

Some believe the talent and numbers don’t match the tape and blame his subpar supporting cast for his lack of production and somewhat questionable decision-making.

Others believe his game won’t translate well to the pros and think he’s just another athlete, so clearly, the jury is still out on him.

It’s not common to see such polarizing prospects going No. 1 overall, especially with two guys like Bryce Young and C.J. Stroud that look like near-locks to be stars at the next level.

Also, it would be odd to see the Panthers trading up to get Levis, but we’ve seen crazier things happen in this league.
