Both teams were on the court for Thursday night’s game between the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers but it seems like only one truly showed up.
The Warriors made it look easy as they took down the Lakers in Game 2, stunning them with a 127-100 victory.
Just hours before, numerous people predicted that it would be a close game.
Afterward, Skip Bayless was one of the many who regretted underestimating Golden State’s power.
“I said there was no way the Warriors would hit 21 threes again. I was wrong, thanks mostly to Klay’s 8 threes in 11 attempts. Too good,” Bayless said on Twitter Thursday night.
“It wasn’t poor defense by the Lakers. It was a man who can unpredictably get even hotter than Steph,” Bayless added.

Thompson did indeed have a stellar night and helped his team easily overcome LA.
He shot 72.7% from the three-point line and had one of his best games in ages from downtown.
Defending Thompson on a bad night can be hard but stopping him when he seemingly can’t miss is all but impossible.
JaMychal Green, Donte DiVincenzo, Moses Moody, Andrew Wiggins, Stephen Curry, and even Johnathan Kuminga all contributed their own three-pointers too.
The Warriors ended up with 21 threes for the night and shot an even 50% from beyond the arc.
Thompson hasn’t been this good in a long time and now people are wondering what he can do for Game 3.
Will he remain hot from that part of the court?
Will another player, perhaps Curry or Wiggins or Green, get going from the three-point line?
The Warriors grabbed a definitive and important win on Thursday.
Thompson and his team reminded the Lakers why they are the reigning NBA champions.
