The Los Angeles Lakers made a plethora of painful errors on Thursday night and it cost them Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals.
At times, they were leading the Denver Nuggets by double digits but they ultimately lost the game by five points.
On Friday morning, Skip Bayless placed plenty of the blame on none other than LeBron James.
Speaking of James’ poor three-point shooting, Bayless pleaded with someone to grab hold of the superstar and tell him to focus on what he does best and stop trying to post points from the perimeter.
“You want somebody on the Lakers to just shake LeBron and say, ‘Wake up!’” Bayless said on Undisputed.
“LeBron took and missed too many 3s, they can’t close games and AD disappeared in crucial spurts.”

The team had more problems than just James’ three-point attempts.
However, he was dreadful from downtown, scoring none of his six attempts from beyond the arc.
Bayless stressed the point that James is still the best driver in the NBA and can make it to the rim unlike anyone else.
It’s mind-boggling to him why James didn’t take that route more often.
It’s even more frustrating because the Nuggets have a hard time defending James or any Lakers star when they drive to the bucket.
Anthony Davis had many problems last night and the Lakers also lacked any sort of response to Jamal Murray’s ferocious second half.
All in all, the team started sloppily and got even sloppier as the night went on and James’ performance was a major factor.
The good news for Lakers fans is that James rarely has two bad nights back-to-back.
There is a very good chance he comes out strongly for Saturday’s home game.
Will it be enough to get the Lakers back into this series?
