Spencer Strider took the mound for the Atlanta Braves on Monday night as they opened up a four-game series against the Miami Marlins.

The right-hander had a game to remember, as he struck out a total of 13 batters over eight scoreless innings, allowing just two hits in the process.

Strider also carried a no-hitter into the eighth inning as well.

His 13 strikeouts were a season-high.

His dominance helped the Braves end a four-game losing streak.

On Twitter, MLB posted a video featuring all of Strider’s strikeouts and a graphic that showed his line from his impressive start against the Marlins.

Strider earned his third win of the year with Monday night’s dominant performance and remained undefeated.

He also lowered his ERA to 1.80 on the season.

The young right-hander burst onto the scene with the Braves last season.

He made his debut late in 2021, but finally got a chance to pitch a full season in 2022.

The right-hander won 11 games in 31 appearances and 20 starts, posting a 2.67 ERA and finishing just behind his Braves teammate in Michael Harris II for the National League Rookie of the Year Award.

So far, he’s off to a good start in 2022, and he came through in a key spot when the Braves needed him the most on Monday, taking a no-hitter all the way until the eighth and striking out 13 Marlins hitters.

The Braves bats went to work as well, scoring 11 runs off the Marlins and handing Edward Cabrera his second loss of the year.

The Braves improved to 15-8 on the year.
