For a moment it seemed like it wouldn’t happen, but Stephen Curry and his Golden State Warriors are in the playoffs.

They’re actually doing quite well lately.

They started their opening round with a tough deficit but have since climbed to 3-2 in the series against the Sacramento Kings and are looking to close them out on Friday night.

A lot of people are paying attention to these games but that’s not a surprise since Curry is involved.

Boardroom highlighted the amazing fact that since 2015, 27 NBA games have drawn over 14 million viewers – and Curry was featured in every single one of them.

His latest series against the Kings has been another monster hit on TV.

For example, ABC’s broadcast of Game 4 recorded the largest audience for a first-round NBA playoff game in 21 years.

The game averaged 7.5 million viewers and peaked with 10.4 million during the 6 p.m. quarter-hour, according to ESPN.

Curry’s name has become synonymous with NBA greatness and even casual fans will tune in if they know he and his team are playing.

As successful as the Warriors-Kings series has been, Curry might be on the verge of another ratings juggernaut.

There is a chance that the Warriors beat the Kings and then possibly face off against the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round.

A matchup between Curry and LeBron James would be a massive success and would attract millions of people.

Curry is obviously a major draw for viewers and so is James.

That series would be appointment television for so many people.
