The Los Angeles Lakers have already gone much further in the playoffs than people expected.
Some fans are now predicting that they could go all the way to the Finals.
If they do, it’ll be partly because of the monstrous and impressive work of big man Anthony Davis.
Davis has surged in the postseason and has been a defensive powerhouse.
StatMuse pointed out that Davis has 30 blocks so far in the postseason.
That is more than the combined blocks than the entire New York Knicks team, who have 29 across the entire roster.
Additionally, Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat only have 24 blocks.

Davis, the only player with 20+ blocks in the postseason, is playing like a man on a mission.
It has been an interesting and challenging season for him.
The Lakers started with a dreadful 2-10 record and Davis was frustrated with his team’s state.
Just a few months later, he was playing like a possible MVP candidate and was posting numbers he hadn’t achieved in years.
Of course, another injury got in the way for a bit and it took Davis some time to shake off the rust upon his return.
Over the last stretch of the season and into the playoffs, Davis has looked phenomenal.
His team was able to overtake the much younger, much faster Memphis Grizzlies and they scored a huge Game 1 win against the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night.
This has led analysts and fans to think that another championship isn’t out of the realm of possibility if Davis can stay healthy.
The big man is creating big blocks and giving fans big expectations.
