Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors is widely considered the best pure shooter in the history of the NBA, and not surprisingly, the record books look like his own personal resume when it comes to categories having to do with 3-point shooting.
In fact, he holds the four best seasons in league history in terms of most 3-pointers made per game.

Throughout what has been a very frustrating and puzzling season for the defending world champs, Curry has been perhaps the one constant.
He averaged 29.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game in the regular season while shooting 49.3 percent overall and 42.7 percent from beyond the arc.
However, it has also been a difficult year for him, as he appeared in only 56 games due to multiple injuries.
The Warriors may have perked up a bit to end the regular season, as they won eight of their last 10 games, which was just barely enough for them to claim the sixth seed in the Western Conference and avoid the play-in tournament.
While Curry has changed the game with his 3-point shooting prowess, so has Golden State in general.
When it won its first title of the Curry era in 2015, many NBA teams still played mostly half-court, conservative offensive basketball.
But within a few years, as the team won two more rings, scoring and pace exploded, and this season, teams averaged a nearly unprecedented 114.7 points per game while shooting a higher percentage on average than they had in over 30 years.
Although the Warriors may be wounded, they will be dangerous once they begin the playoffs against the Sacramento Kings, and Curry, last year’s NBA Finals MVP, is the biggest reason why.
