The 49ers Have Re-Signed A Veteran WR

The San Francisco 49ers have not done much to improve their offense this offseason.

Part of the reason may be that they already have one of the best rosters in football.

Yet, the Niners are looking to get back to the Super Bowl after two straight years of losing in the NFC Championship game.

To do that, they need to stay healthy, which is something they have struggled with.

Having depth is a key piece to a successful roster and the Niners added more depth on Monday.

According to Around The NFL, the 49ers re-signed wide receiver Willie Snead to a one-year contract.

Snead played four games for the Niners last season and did not record a stat.

This signing is nothing more than just adding depth to a team that might need it.

Snead is an experienced player that has been on nine NFL teams in eight seasons.

Yet, the 49ers did not want to spend much on offense this offseason and Snead was cheap.

Keep an eye on some of the other moves the Niners make this offseason.

One of the most interesting will be to see what they do at quarterback.

They are set to have a battle between Brock Purdy and Trey Lance for the starting job.

Purdy has more experience in NFL games, but Lance was their prized draft pick.

It will be fun to see how this battle plays out and who wins the job.
