On Sunday, the St. Louis Cardinals rolled to a 10-5 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers to secure their fourth consecutive series victory.
Since starting off 10-24 and sinking all the way to the bottom of the National League, the Cardinals are 11-3 and have gained five games in the NL Central.
Instead of sitting in last place, the Cardinals now stand in third place and are just five games behind the slumping Milwaukee Brewers.
On Twitter, the Cardinals posted a collage of photos from Sunday’s game to celebrate their impressive accomplishment of picking up four consecutive series victories, which has led them right back into the thick of the postseason chase.

Heading into their game on May 8 against the rival Chicago Cubs, the Cardinals had only won two series and had lost every series opener.
Their last series win had come in mid-April against the Colorado Rockies.
However, things have changed since then.
The Cards picked up a series win over the Cubs, swept the Boston Red Sox, and took two out of three from the Brewers before welcoming the Dodgers to town.
Los Angeles had swept St. Louis in their three-game set at Dodger Stadium to wrap up April.
But the tables have seemingly turned, and the Cardinals are firing on all cylinders this month.
In addition to gaining five games on the Brewers, the Cardinals are only four games behind the New York Mets for the third NL Wild Card spot.
Now, the Cards are set to begin a nine-game stretch against the Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Guardians, and Kansas City Royals, all of whom are below the .500 mark.
