The Philadelphia Eagles had two picks in the first round last night.

The second of their picks was No. 30 overall, and many teams were hoping they would trade out of it.

Any team looking to draft a quarterback that is falling hopes to get them at the end of the first round.

That way they can get the fifth-year option on the back of their rookie contract.

According to James Palmer, multiple teams were looking to trade up and take the Eagles’ pick.

The Eagles felt that the value of Nolan Smith was too much to pass up at No. 30.

So it makes sense why they kept the pick.

Since no teams were able to make that move, there are still two quarterbacks expected to go early on day two.

Keep an eye on Kentucky quarterback Will Levis and Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker.

Both were potential first-round picks and yet they are still on the board.

Day two of the draft is where many teams can find the steals.

There are still plenty of starters available in the second and third rounds, and it will be interesting to see who ends up where.

Many teams will be jockeying to trade up in the second round.

That is because there is still a bunch of first-round caliber players on the board.

The Tennessee Titans are one team who was thought to be interested in Levis in the first round.

Now they might get the chance to add him on day two.
