At 20-23, the Cleveland Guardians haven’t been as good as they probably hoped this year considering their excellent 2022 campaign.
Fortunately for them, the division-leading Minnesota Twins haven’t been much better and are just 3.5 games ahead.
Cleveland fans, however, are mostly behind the team despite the less-than-inspiring start.
They keep supporting the team through thick and thin, especially considering the organization delivered an incredible season last year.
The pieces are there to keep competing, there are quality prospects on the way, and the fan experience at Progressive Field often includes cool things, like t-shirt giveaways.

Friday, May 26 will be the first of multiple giveaways in the season: Terry Francona’s Bubblegum T-Shirt.
Francona has become a legendary figure in baseball, having won multiple World Series, and with the Guardians even though he hasn’t yet lifted the trophy with them.
With Francona at the helm, the team is usually competitive even when resources are limited.
He is among MLB’s best managers and Cleveland fans know that.
They will get a chance to take a shirt representing his well-known fondness to bubblegum.
It’s a fresh, slick design and is another opportunity for true, hardcore fans to add to their collection.
There will be more giveaways at Progressive Field throughout the season.
For now, Guardians fans that go to the stadium on May 26 to watch the game against the St. Louis Cardinals will get a nice item.
