The New York Jets will be one of the most-watched teams during draft week.

But that is because of a trade they are likely to make.

According to recent reports, the Jets and Green Bay Packers have re-opened talks on a possible Aaron Rodgers trade.

However, the Jets are still focused on improving the roster and have re-signed offensive lineman Connor McGovern.

This is a nice depth signing by the Jets before the draft.

But it will not stop them from adding another offensive lineman in the first round.

New York has the 13th overall pick in the first round, and it seems like a lock they will take an offensive lineman.

If the Jets land Rodgers, they need to be able to protect him.

That is why a first-round offensive lineman seems like such an obvious pick.

The Jets have three picks in the top 50 and should walk away with a great haul in this draft.

Yet, they might have to trade one of those picks in the deal to acquire Rodgers.

Having offensive line depth is very important because it is rare for a lineman to play all 17 games.

New York has not made the playoffs since 2010, but they plan to change that this season.
