The Phillies Make A Change For The Eagles

Most major cities are represented in MLB and the NFL.

The Philadelphia sports scene is one of the craziest in the country.

All four of their major professional teams play in the same complex and that can be a conflict for teams playing on the same day.

That is why if the teams can avoid playing on the same day they will.

The most popular sport in America is the NFL, and all Philly fans are going to do whatever they can to watch the Eagles.

That is why the Phillies and Braves will accommodate the NFL by moving their game.

According to Matt Gelb, the September 14 Phillies-Braves games has been moved to September 11.

This change was necessary because the Eagles are playing a Thursday home game on the 14th.

Now there will no longer be a scheduling conflict between the Phillies and the Eagles.

This is great news for Philly fans as they can now not have to worry about choosing one team or the other.

The Phillies should most likely be in a playoff chase, while this Eagles game will be their home opener.

Both stadiums should be packed as each team looks to win their respective league once again.

Also from the Phillies’ perspective, this series with the Braves could decide who wins the NL East.

Currently, Atlanta has a six-game lead over the Phillies in the division.

But that could very easily be gone by the time we get to September.

Ultimately, this was a smart move by the Phillies and Braves to ensure their series gets the most fans possible.
