Throughout the NFL offseason, there have been a few teams that have been incredibly active, adding several new players to their roster.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have been relatively quiet during this period of time, much to the chagrin of their fans.

However, the team recently finalized a trade, bringing Allen Robinson to their organization.

Robinson is a nine-year NFL veteran and has spent time with three different organizations.

While he was highly regarded during his time with the Jacksonville Jaguars and his first two years with the Chicago Bears, Robinson’s production has dipped over the past two seasons.

Last year, Robinson had 33 receptions, which resulted in 339 yards and three touchdowns.

This was the lowest total in his career, in a season that he played at least ten games.

With any luck, Robinson’s veteran presence on the Steelers will be appreciated, especially given their current quarterback situation.

Kenny Pickett will be entering his second season as the Steelers’ starting quarterback.

Pickett is the Steelers’ first full-time quarterback since the departure of Ben Roethlisberger, a beloved figure within the organization.

As a whole, Pickett struggled during his rookie year, and many fans pointed to the wide receiving room as a potential cause.

Adding Robinson slots him as a third key receiving option for Pickett, as he will join Diontae Johnson and George Pickens in the receiving room.

In an increasingly difficult AFC North, the Steelers will need to do something to differentiate themselves.

Will Robinson’s veteran leadership be the jolt that they need moving forward?
