The Minnesota Twins have been an interesting team in 2023.
After a tough finish to the 2022 season, Minnesota had a busy offseason and added stars such as Joey Gallo, Christian Vazquez, and Pablo Lopez while also retaining Carlos Correa.
On Sunday, the Twins bats came alive as they scored 16 runs against the Chicago Cubs.
Minnesota won by a final score of 16-3 and ultimately took two out of three against the North Siders.
The team had scored 11 runs in the previous game, which amounted to a total of 27 runs scored over a two-game period.

27 runs in two games is certainly not easy to do.
It’s also quite rare.
However, the Twins’ bats came alive over the weekend and delivered a strong performance as the team took care of business against the Cubs.
The Twins have been an interesting team this year.
They own a record of 23-18 and lead the American League Central division by 3.5 games over the Cleveland Guardians and four games over the Detroit Tigers.
Minnesota has also won back-to-back games and six out of their previous 10 games.
14 of their wins this season have come at home.
Their offense has been a major key to their success this season and was once again on full display over the weekend as they erupted for their 27 runs over two wins against the Cubs.
The Twins are now set to open up a crucial series against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium on Monday night.
