Tom Brady may no longer be padding up for NFL Sundays, but he’s still nowhere near done in this league.
As you may know by now, the legendary quarterback signed a 10-year deal worth a whopping $375 million to join FOX Sports as a color commentator once he was done playing.
Brady urged the network to give him an extra year to get ready, as he wanted to focus on other aspects of his life that required some time and energy.
Notably, though, a report by The New York Post stated that the seven-time Super Bowl champion was having second thoughts about his new gig, putting his future in the booth into question.
That’s why Brady didn’t hesitate to call the report out on Instagram, simply denying it by writing “FakeNews” on the post, according to TMZ.
Tom Brady Says He’s Not Considering Backing Out Of FOX Sports Gig, ‘FakeNews’

There has been some skepticism about Brady’s ability to dominate this next endeavor in his career the same way he did during his playing days.
Drew Brees’ first year as a color commentator didn’t exactly go as planned, and being great at one thing doesn’t mean you’ll be great at the other.
That’s why Brady vowed to take the same approach to his new gig as the one he took to his football days, so you better believe he’ll go through thorough and exhaustive reviews and film study before every single game he’s in charge of.
That, assuming he doesn’t have another change of heart and shocks the world with yet another epic comeback.
