Monday night was a tough night to be a fan of the New York Yankees.
The team opened up a series against the Minnesota Twins at Target Field and struggled to get their offense going, as they were dominated by an old friend in right-hander Sonny Gray, who pitched seven scoreless innings.
New York fell by a final of 6-1.
Needless to say, Yankees fans weren’t terribly happy with the way the team performed in their series opener against the Twins.
With the Yankees down 4-0 in the top of the sixth, cameras on the YES broadcast panned over to Nestor Cortes, who sat on the bench with a disappointed look on his face.
On Twitter, a fan posted a screenshot of the moment when cameras focused on a frustrated Cortes.

Perhaps the look on Cortes’ face sums up how Yankees fans were feeling on Monday night as they failed to get anything going against Gray.
Another former Yankee in Joey Gallo hit his fourth home run of the season.
With the Tampa Bay Rays winning over the Houston Astros, the Yankees fell to seven games back of first and also dropped into fourth place in the American League East.
Clearly, Cortes wasn’t happy about the way things went at Target Field.
Many Yankees fans are more than likely feeling the same about their series-opening loss.
Every team in the AL East is either .500 or better at the moment, but the Yankees are just 1.5 games ahead of the Boston Red Sox, who currently occupy the bottom spot in the division.
