New York Yankees outfielder and reigning AL MVP Aaron Judge has been out of action since Thursday.
That day, in the game against the Texas Rangers, Judge suffered a mild strain at the top of his right hip.
An MRI revealed no significant structural damage, though, and the slugger has a chance to return to game action on Monday or Tuesday.
To do that, however, he will need to show there are no ill effects of the injury.
He will test it out on Monday before the game against the Cleveland Guardians in batting practice.

Judge is not in the lineup on Monday, but could potentially make an appearance later in the game if the Yankees like what they see.
If they don’t, then a short stint on the injured list is still a possibility.
It will all depend on how he looks.
Judge has been good to start the 2023 season, although not his 2022 explosive self.
Last year, he slashed .311/.425/.686 with a new AL-record 62 home runs.
This season has been a bit more modest, yet still very good with a .261/.352/.511, six blasts, 18 runs scored, and 14 RBI.
In order to show the power we have all grown accustomed to, Judge needs his hips to be 100 percent healthy.
If he can show that’s the case in pre-game batting practice on Monday, he can return to the active lineup, where he is very much needed.
The 15-14 Yankees have lost three straight games with no Judge in the batting order, and are tied with the Boston Red Sox for last in the AL East.
